THE THREE PILLARS OF THE CCAZ

EDUCATION
& TRAINING
We are building a strong foundation of educational resources—including courses, certifications, and seminars—designed to keep members current with industry standards and help them develop new skills for career growth.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT & ADVOCACY
Our Association is becoming a go-to resource for construction standards, mix design guidelines, and specifications tailored to Arizona’s unique climate. We aim to support designers and engineers in making informed, climate-resilient decisions.

WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT
We are launching a workforce development program to attract, train, and mentor the next generation of concrete professionals—helping meet industry demands and shaping a stronger future for Arizona’s concrete trades.

OUR 5-YEAR ROADMAP
The Concrete Contractors Association of Arizona (CCAZ) was created to strengthen and unify our industry through education, innovation, and advocacy. Our five-year plan outlines how we’ll grow from a new organization into a recognized force shaping Arizona’s construction future.
Year 1: Foundation & Awareness
We’re laying the groundwork with a clear organizational structure, board leadership, and key committees. Our focus is on building relationships, recruiting members, and establishing a strong brand presence through a professional website, marketing materials, and a high-impact launch event. We’re also beginning early advocacy and strategic partnerships.
Year 2: Growth & Influence
With momentum building, we’ll expand our membership, launch training and certification programs, and host educational events focused on innovation and best practices. Our advocacy efforts will intensify, with a focus on infrastructure, building standards, and sustainability. A growing library of member resources will support ongoing professional development.
Years 3–5: Leadership & Innovation
Our long-term goal is to position CCAZ as an industry leader across Arizona and beyond. We’ll promote cutting-edge technologies like carbon-neutral concrete and high-performance materials, partner with research institutions, and publish best practices. Through active engagement in policy, education, and technical standards, we’ll help shape the future of concrete construction.
